Last updated 12 January 2026. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Brightbaskt Editorial Media S.L. governing your access to and use of pantrybrightbaskt.com.
pantrybrightbaskt.com (the "Site") is operated by Brightbaskt Editorial Media S.L., a Spanish company registered under number B-67482915 with its registered office at Carrer de Pallars 193, 4-2, 08005 Barcelona, Spain ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing, browsing or otherwise using the Site you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not accept these terms, you must stop using the Site.
You must be at least sixteen years old to use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
The Site is an independent editorial publication. We research and publish reviews, comparisons and guides relating to hotels in Spain, currently focused on five properties in Barcelona. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, reservation intermediary, booking engine or agent of any hotel, and we do not enter into any contract with you relating to travel services. We receive no commission on any reservation made after reading our content, and we do not accept payment, hosted stays or gifts in exchange for coverage, inclusion or ranking.
All bookings are made directly with the relevant hotel or with a third-party platform of your choosing. The contract for any accommodation, dining or other service is between you and that provider, on that provider's terms. We are not a party to it and bear no responsibility for its performance.
You agree to use the Site lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not:
All editorial text, comparison tables, research methodology, page structure, layout, graphic design, illustrations, iconography, source code, stylesheets and the compilation of all of the foregoing are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by Spanish and international copyright, database and design law. The name "pantrybrightbaskt", the domain pantrybrightbaskt.com and our sun-and-arch mark are our trademarks.
You may: view the Site on a device; print or download single copies of individual pages for your personal, non-commercial use in planning a trip; and quote short extracts (not exceeding 100 words) for the purposes of review, criticism or news reporting, provided you attribute them clearly to pantrybrightbaskt.com and include a functioning link to the page quoted.
You may not: republish our reviews or comparison tables in whole or in substantial part; incorporate our content into another product, service, dataset or training corpus; or use our trademarks in a way likely to cause confusion as to origin or endorsement. Hotel names, logos, trademarks, restaurant names and chef names referenced on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only under applicable fair-dealing and nominative-use principles. Photographs are licensed from third-party providers or used under their published licence terms; no transfer of any photographic licence to you is made or implied.
We take care to verify factual claims — room counts, restaurant names, Michelin distinctions, facility lists, opening seasons — against each hotel's own published material at the time of writing, and we state the verification date on our pages. Nevertheless, the hospitality sector changes constantly: restaurants close, chefs move, spas are refurbished, rates fluctuate daily and facilities are withdrawn without notice.
Accordingly, the Site and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Indicative price ranges are editorial estimates only and are not offers, quotations or guarantees. Any opinion expressed is the honest editorial judgement of our team at the time of writing and is not a statement of fact.
You must verify all material details directly with the hotel before making any booking, payment or travel commitment.
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including the official websites of the hotels we review, restaurants, cultural institutions and mapping services. These links are provided for your convenience and do not constitute endorsement, sponsorship or approval of those sites, their operators or their content. We have no control over third-party sites and accept no responsibility or liability for their content, availability, security, accuracy or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party site is entirely at your own risk and governed by that site's own terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nor do these terms affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer under Spanish or EU consumer protection law.
Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
You agree to indemnify and hold us, our directors, employees and contractors harmless against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the Site, or any content you submit to us that infringes the rights of a third party.
We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw, restrict or modify all or any part of the Site, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice, for maintenance, security, commercial or editorial reasons. We may also revise, correct, update or remove any content at any time.
We may terminate or restrict your access to the Site immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, in particular sections 3 and 4. You may terminate this agreement at any time by ceasing to use the Site. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 survive termination.
We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you access the Site is the version that applies to that visit. Material changes will be signalled by an updated "Last updated" date and, where significant, by a notice on the Site.
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the laws of Spain, excluding any conflict-of-laws rules that would require the application of another jurisdiction's law. The courts of the city of Barcelona, Spain, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the Site. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country where EU law so provides.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected] with the subject line "Formal complaint", setting out the issue and the outcome you seek. We acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to provide a substantive response within thirty calendar days. Most matters are resolved at this stage.
If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to settle it through mediation administered by a recognised mediation body in Barcelona before commencing court proceedings, save that either party may seek urgent injunctive relief at any time. Consumers resident in the EU may also be able to use the relevant national consumer arbitration or alternative dispute resolution scheme; details are available from the Spanish consumer authorities.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede any prior understanding. Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to a successor in connection with a reorganisation or sale of the business. Force majeure. We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control. Language. These terms are drafted in English; any translation is provided for convenience and the English version prevails.
